Scott Thompson, FNP-C

Pain Management located in Chandler, AZ & Mesa, AZ

Scott would consider himself an Arizona native (age 10 is when his family moved here) He grew up in Mesa and spent the first 20 years of his career in home building, specifically in concrete construction. Life happens, so during the downturn in construction in 2007 he made a career change and he went back to school to pursue his nursing degree graduating in 2011. In his nursing career he spent most of his career working in the ICU and ER. While pursuing his Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Grand Canyon University, he was able to work in nursing administration and ICU float pool nursing, ortho rehab and recovery. He received his associate’s degree from community college and continued with his bachelor’s and master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner through Grand Canyon University. He graduated in 2017 and went into Family Practice and has been practicing in Rural healthcare most recently. Scott is married to Mindy (almost 35 years) and they have raised 4 children. In his free time, he still loves construction and working around his house/yard. He loves to spend time with his grandchildren and family who lovingly call him Grumpa.
